From the craggy peaks of Derbyshire, the forests of north Nottinghamshire and the rolling hills of Leicestershire, the East Midlands is a diverse, if somewhat under-rated, part of the country.

It is no surprise, therefore, that its cities, towns and villages retain a strong sense of what makes their community different – and will celebrate that difference on a daily basis.
